My day spent on the 'Public Affairs Practitioners' course was both comprehensive and extremely useful. The speakers related invaluable hands-on experiences within very different aspects of Public Affairs, they also had some memorable anecdotes! I’d happily recommend the course to anybody looking to develop their knowledge and skills in Public Affairs further.
Louis M Coiffait, Public Affairs Executive, External Affairs, Merck Sharp & Dohme
Communicate's one-day workshops are an excellent eye-opener on the world of public affairs. They are a really useful way of getting first-hand information from leading practitioners on thorny issues such as getting the best from consultants, the most effective use of polling and how the world of politics really works. The historic St Ermin's Hotel location also adds to a wonderful all-round Westminster experience
Vincent Burke, former Press Manager, London Chamber of Commerce and Media Manager, London Development Agency
Good general insight to Public Affairs. Working in a press office, it was a useful to get a strong flavour of public affairs.
Richard Robinson, Senior Press Officer, EDF Energy
All the speakers were very good. Being totally new to Public Affairs, Rona’s pitch was first class and gave be a good initial under standing of public affairs.
Richard Felton, United Utilities plc
The quality of speakers was high; they were (without exception) eloquent, informative and perceptive. The opportunity to speak with an active Member of Parliament regarding public affairs work, was extremely valuable.
