Roger Sharp is the Group Director of Public Affairs for Telefonica O2 Europe PLC. Previously he served as Special Advisor to Tessa Jowell MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and Patricia Hewitt MP, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.

Prior to this he was Head of Business Unit for the Labour Party, Head of Business Liaison for the Britain in Europe Campaign, Director of GJW Governement Relations and a Business Liaison Officer for the Labour Party. He began his public affairs career as a research assistant in the office of Gordon Brown MP. Roger is originally from New Zealand and has an MA in Political Studies and a BA in History and Political Studies from the University of Auckland.
