Typical Course Programme:
Setting the scene: deciding what you want the campaign to achieve, objectives and strategy, why change is needed, target areas of influence, target contacts and identifying supporters
Coalitions: Other charities and commercial supporters, the challenges and benefits of working in partnership, agreeing key objectives, protocols and compromises
Case Study: Achieving legislative change or avoiding damaging legislation: A Campaigning Journey; Mencap’s ‘Treat Me Right’ and ‘Death By Indifference’ campaigns to improve healthcare for people with a learning disability
Case Study: Using public affairs to support a broader reputation and awareness campaign: Breast Cancer Campaign ‘Wear it Pink’

Course Tutor
The tutor will be an experienced public affairs practitioner.
Delegates
We have an upper limit of 16 delegates per course so that the trainer has an opportunity to address individual delegates' needs.
Timings & Lunch
Courses start at 9.00am and finish at approximately 2.00pm.
Lunch is provided and there are refreshments at breaks throughout the day. Exact timetables are confirmed to each delegate once a booking has been made.
Cost
Cost per person is £295 plus VAT (including lunch and all materials)
