For each practitioners’ day a number of guest speakers (including an MP, senior public affairs practitioner, a civil servant or member of a think-tank and someone with a media background) are offered a one hour slot in which to give a short presentation or talk followed by questions and discussion with delegates. The theme of the day is ‘best practice in public affairs’.
These courses provide an excellent opportunity for public affairs practitioners to find out how they can improve their performance. Courses are restricted to a maximum of 16 delegates to provide ample time for questions and discussion.
Upcoming speakers include:
Dr Eamonn Butler, Director, Adam Smith Institute
Nick Wood, Director, Media Intelligence Partners
Stephen Crabb MP
Roger Sharp, Director of Public Affairs, O2
Anthony Browne, Director, Policy Exchange
