11.00 – 12.00 Session 2: Working with the European Commission

  • Commissioners and their Cabinets – and when to involve them
  • The key Directorates General
  • How to operate within the Commission at official level
  • Dealing with forthcoming legislation
  • Responding to Commission action/ dealing with a crisis

12.00 – 12.40 Session 3:

14.00 – 15.00 Session 4: Working with the European Parliament and other EU bodies

  • Dos and do nots! Getting the inside edge

      Course Tutor
      The tutor will be an experienced public affairs practitioner.

      Delegates
      We have an upper limit of 16 delegates per course so that the trainer has an opportunity to address individual delegates' needs.

      Timings & Lunch
      Courses start at 9.00am and finish at approximately 2.00pm.

      Lunch is provided and there are refreshments at breaks throughout the day. Exact timetables are confirmed to each delegate once a booking has been made.
       
      Cost
