Helen Kennett is Head of Government Relations for Thales UK, an international group operating in the defence, aerospace and security markets.  

Thales is the second largest defence electronics contractor in the UK and Government Relations activity has focused on major Government procurement programmes.  

With a degree in politics and law Helen worked for an MP before joining the House magazine, then the Engineering Employers’ Federation, followed by Railtrack before joining Thales in 2001.
